About Us

The Australian School of Gardening (TASG) aims to be a Centre of Excellence for Advancing Education in Gardening in Australia. TASG is a registered ACNC organisation founded in the the Southern Highlands of New South Wales (2018).

These events aim to:

Showcase to the public the passion, knowledge and expertise of gardening;

Recognise participation in gardening and garden education as a rewarding, social activity that promotes well-being in participants and the environment;

Popularise gardening knowledge and expertise;

Enrich the experience of understanding, developing, maintaining, and renewing gardens; and

Share passion, knowledge and expertise with gardening peers.

Professional Gardeners

PROFESSIONAL GROUP

These events aim to:

Showcase the knowledge, skill and expertise of gardening as a profession;

Encourage Professional Gardeners to improve their knowledge, skills and expertise;

Use Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to provide a clear career path for Professional Gardeners aspiring to become Head Gardeners;

Enrich the experience of researching, understanding, developing, maintaining, and renewing gardens; and

Share passion, knowledge, skills and expertise with professional gardening peers.

Head Gardeners

PROFESSIONAL GROUP

These events aim to:

Provide Continuining Professional Development (CPD) for Head Gardeners to ensure traditional knowledge and skills are retained, and to ensure currency of garden expertise;

Offer professional recognition for completed CPD;

Enrich the experience of researching, understanding, developing, maintaining, and renewing gardens; and

Share passion, knowledge, skills and expertise with professional gardening peers.
